LIVE Painting instruction in Watercolor.
" I can't emphasize enough the importance of good quality supplies!"
Almost always students will complain that they didn't want to spend money on supplies because they are just beginning and don't want to waste good supplies on learning.
So many students think they can't paint when actually it is the supplies they are using.
*Watercolor brushes are designed to hold different about of water.
* Some papers are rag, some are cotton. There are different weights and textures.
*Some watercolor paints have more pigment and less filler than others.
You want to practice with good supplies.
Compare it to golfing.
You don't want to practice with a plastic ball because you don't want to waste the good ones.
A supply list can be provided or you may "rent" supplies. Renting provides you with everything you need. You may take your supplies home. This program is recommended for beginners.
Creative shopping everyone will enjoy.
Select your own class.
Beginners? Of course.
2022 is the perfect year for something new and different.
If taken individually classes are $35 each
Monthly enrollment is discounted to $94.00 per month. If you are enrolled in additional class tuition for that class is discounted to $66.00 per month.
Enrollment indicated that the POLICY and PROCEDURES have been read and agreed to.
All of Jennie's classes are designed to be slow, easy, and moving at the student's pace and interest.
Surely you have questions.
Art is Important Art is Fun
Painting and drawing are learned skills like anything else you would like to learn to do.
Excitement and anxiety are part of the experience but it should be and can be a great deal of fun.
Emerson is right. Everyone begins as an amateur.
Most begin as beginners
Until you learn how to use the tools of your trade, you really don't know what the experience will be for you.
Come on - in the watercolor is great
Work at your own pace.
It's the only way
Mistakes are encouraged. It's the only way to learn.
No drawing is necessary.

Surely you have questions.

Painting and drawing are learned skills
Like anything else, you would like to achieve the tools you need for that achievement are LEARNED. You may or maybe be born with artistic talent but you don't really know until you LEARN how to use the tools.
Excitement and anxiety are part of the experience and they should be. It can also be a great deal of fun.
There is nothing to lose.
Until you learn how to use the tools you really don't know what the experience will be for you.
References will be provided no drawing is needed.
" Learning to paint with Jennie is so unintimidating. Really is just a good time."
"I started with Jennie 7 years ago and each class is still fun."
Don't know what to do next? Here it is.
You LEARN what to do next.
Several subjects are addressed in these classes including, loosening up, composition, perspective in watercolor, and student's request.
Important to remember- It is meant to be FUN.
Instant gratification is not always possible but mastering each level is very gratifying and then the next level.
And each level should and can be enjoyable.
Be patient with yourself and you will learn what to do next because you learned what you needed to do first.
